I met him at the Scottish bike show a couple of years ago with his dirty R1, he was a pratt
Had a good chat with him a few years back when he visited a local pub as part of his tour.

spoke to this man at nec i had brought is dvd and he signed it for me, i pride myself on not being the judge of any other human, but i really do think he is from another planet.... mind you he is from mack(hippy town mid wales)

I nearly bought a DVD from......But he wouldn't sell me one that hadn't been signed........!
Went to his RTW Triumph talk at Two Wheels in Edinburgh many years ago and thought he was a complete 'pratt'......!
Having said that he was an excellent speaker and I thoroughly enjoyed his talk, he seemed to come across as a complete hairbrain but he's tough as old boots and his an impressive CV. Unless you've been on one of his less well organised tours.
His Missus at the time was a real 'looker' and very, very nice!
I'd definately go to another one(the talk not his missus)
