No computer

Hi my 650 twin has no computer.. Has anyone any ideas how to fill this blank space in the dash? I was looking for a temperature gauge.. Anyone done anything with theirs... Cheers

I didn't think many have the bike without the computer?

Either way are you referring to engine or ambient temperature?

Think you might find that the computer is a factory fit option only Not sure you can retro fit these to the F650 or F800 GS's

Some one else may know better

yes if you wanted you can get the retrofit computer kit. Don't have the details but you can buy it from bmw.

Ahhh - when i was buying BMW and forums said not retro fit option...

OP - leave it blank and enjoy being one of the ones who knows what gear they're in!

Cheers..just miss the thermometer really so its looks like i will stick on a small digital one from maplins ..great bike though

I dont think is possible to fit anything thro the blanked off section of the computer screen. Im assuming you want something to stick on like an air temperature gauge or compass etc,
This one off e-bay looks a likely bit of kit, I have seen similar in Halfords.

How about just calling the main dealer first to be sure and if no joy something like this

gets a good review

compass I remember the one I had in my shoe once but now the sat nav is more apt (in compass mode)
