Evening all,
recently got back into the 1150 world with a lovely 05 GSA and loving it, however.....

Had two problems today (not related to each other).

1. Jumped on the bike this morning and to my dismay, my instrument panel ( gear indicator, fuel and temp gauge) refused to work or register anything and the clock is stuck on 18:04.
Done nothing to encourage this except riding through a hoofing rainstorm (?) and just wondered if anyone else has come across this?

2. Couple of times the clutch acted a bit odd. Slipped (and stank) pulling away from some lights and just behaved a bit "weird" whilst filtering.
Had a quick search on here and have a few ideas to check but any pointers would be great before I go ripping the starter off, (Bike has 36k miles with some history but not sure when clutch/ fluid etc was last changed...)

Thanks in advance!

Could be clutch slave cylinder leaking fluid or gearbox seal , possible crank seal.

remember to start with the simple things!

Me -

I would check / replace clutch fluid and check for leaks
Dissconnect and re-connect the electrical connectsion first

Do you have HID lights? Similar symptoms on mine a while back, had to pull a fuse, key on, key off etc etc IIRC for a minute or so. Something to do with the ballast emissions screwing with the RID. Sorry its vague, it was a while ago. Search function is your friend.
