no no no no no not again please

well it takes allsorts and every one has different taste, ive had a hardtail before and no its not the most comfortable thing ,infact its downright painfull at times but i love them.
for me ,and this is the important bit for me its a hardtail .

Even 'normal' suspension is bad enough on the potholed roads 'round here...

I can't imagine what a hard-tail bike would be like, but then I hear you have to be tough to ride one.

ps - i got hardtails out of my system by 1984.. :) ( yes - that is a guzzi LM2 front mudder.. )

My mates who were a bit Oder than me rode hard tailed bikes in the 70s. I lost count how many times the frames snapped and were welded.
The only good thing was the snapped rear frames stopped them worrying about the oil leaks.
:blast

Looks like you've spunked on that photo over old memories?

Do I have to keep showing you this? :D Near standard (read "cheap" ) Sporty with a big tank, some minor mods and a paint job. Looks good, goes well, handles well enough...:thumb

I like that
What tank is that off or is it a custome ??
I think the tank shape is what lets the sportster down the most mind you a 48 looks good but 60-70 mile range :blast

fames are built much better now ,i had a fenland frame for my last project and when i took it to the painters he said it was some of the best welding he had ever seen .

..maybe you should have taken it to a welder for a comment on welding ? .. ;)
