Heard rumour that 07 model will not have the servo brakes.. any one guess why they are taking them away.. I like mine
no servo in 07 model .. is this true

Ordered an ADV being built in Oct with ABS but no servo.
I assume the system must be more like the 2002 abs non servo system which I really like.

From a recent discusision with a dealer it is apparently to allow for the "traction control" to be fitted.

I really liked those servo
am a little suspect when they withdraw a system after such a short while .. On both my bikes the servos worked great and I loved the way two fingers could haul you down with ease.. Ah well .. will prob still buy the product until I discover a better one .. Has anyone tried a Tiger

Here it is mate,
" all bikes after september ABS or not will be non servo. This is not because of any ongoing problems with the servo but because BMW are bringing in the option of traction control which is controlled by the ABS circuitry and cannot utilise the servo."
So as clear as mud then. Well to me anyway! Good job I was going for the non ABS model anyway.

They will not loose a single customer by doing away with the servos - so it can only be a good thing.

My GS12 servo brakes are fine, once you get used to them, they just need a delicate touch
