Managed to clear the day on Saturday to come up after all, but the GS decided she had other ideas.

I got 1.3 miles into my trip to Wales on Friday and there was a crunching graunch from the rear end and oil pissing out all over the back wheel...

Waiting for Steptoe to get back to me about fixing it..... F*CK SHIT BOLLOCKS.

ah the ole bearing cage failing:comfort

Unfortunatley recent family events will prevent me from attending this event:(

Have a great weekend and i'm sorry i'm not able to make it.

Shep
hope this smooth out for you shep:thumb

Room for another in the beer tent?

Hiya, leaving it a bit late I know..... but a few beers, a camp fire and a bunch of tossers on a ride out sounds perfect.

So if poss count me in for the camping, the food and the shooting (not sure u will need any extra clays tho...)

Let me know how much and best way to pay.

Cheers, Jeff.

Camp Ride Out

Thought I would give you a bit more info on the ride out (and back!) on the Saturday.

Not too sure of the start time Saturday morning but think about 10:00 but there will be a :blagblah:blagblah:blagblah Friday night to let you know. I will try and bring along paper copies of the routes for those without Satnavs.

From camp. Going to Headcorn Aerodrome (about 1 hour away) for tea, food, pee. A mixture of back lanes, country roads, A roads ... all tarmac but some are gravelly.
Not too sure how long we will stay at Headcorn.
Back to camp. About an hour away but we will be stopping off just before the end for some ... well, just make sure you bring your cameras. This route is more of a faster flowing one in order to get back approx 14:00 (see :blagblah:blagblah:blagblah) ready for the clay pidgeon shooting.

If only you know what i know:augiethe scenery in the area is fabulous and the horizon seems to ebb and flow, watching them plough this time of year is magical.back on earth..

unless you brought a female to keep warm..

Hi,

I'll try to ride over on my new GSA and with the wife (on her Multistrada 1000 DS - Grandmother babysitting dependent) and a few others. One of my mates has just bought a R1200GS so he's likely to go on Sunday.

I collect my bike this Saturday and plan to visit my dad who lives on a farm in Knockholt, Sevenoaks on Sunday so its local.

Hopefully see you there. :thumb2
