Non-bike related Free Stuff ........

Am a joiner so know what you mean, but hate to see stuff go to dump. Hoping to get rid of wood and get back near three feet of garage soon. Shall spend a Saturday with saw and stock up on fire wood.

I am a builder. :D Just don't use these type of fixings anymore so was hoping to pass them on. I hate chucking stuff but I've got too much old leftover stock from projects.

Today I used some left over pop rivets that I got for a job 10 years ago. I'm loathe to sling anything and inevitably when I do I'll end up looking for them. I'd say you will use them some time. JJH

I used to just put scrap next to skips to be collected but now also leave all the timber out as people want it for stoves.

I've just chucked 25kg of plasterboard nails that have been hanging around for years. Some materials are worth hanging on to, but I have tried to keep too much in the past.

5 boxes, varying quantities, but there's got to be 300+ fixings there. M8x120, m10x115, m10x160. Free to collect from Ombersley or they're in the skip.

I'd have had them if closer :-)

Odyssey PC680 Battery

From my 07 RT.

It's about four years old/30,000 miles.

Has always started it but a bit sluggish at times - could be down to the fact that I'm not doing frequent long journeys any more. Most are now less than 10 miles - often less than 4.

Optimate says it's good - it did once de-sulphate. It's only been on the charger when it's become sluggish.

I'm in Enfield if anyone wants to collect it.

Suggest reply on thread in first instance, then pm.

Pity I don't live closer, I would be round like a shot. Mine are a bit used and abused. Lol
Good on you sir

If you decide to post em, give me a shout ta!

I live in Kent, not too far from Pedro, and I'm coming to Wales towards the end of May (and items will strap to the back of a bike) if that's any help to either/both of you??

Folding camp bed, think its an IKEA one.

Way too big to post, so if you want it, you'll ave to come and fetch it from Newcastle under Lyme. Its on wheels, and folds up to go against a wall. It did have a fake 'chest of drawers' box to fit over it, but thats gone.

I'll be skipping it if no one shouts up - it's got to go!

Well done keeping the fire resistance tag attached. A lot of folk remove these and it means that the sofa or bed or whatever can never be re-sold or refurbished by any charity or recycling project.

Bike trailer

If someone wants a project come and get it. Rust covered but frame is solid and all welds are good, I think it may need new axles - but try first. It was my brothers so I wouldn't trust anything big on it but might be useful for a dust buster. Happy if you want to work on it here so might suit someone local who can make it shiny new?
