I waited a month to get a response from their support site - I raised an issue (which is still not resolved, 6 months and counting so far) before my warranty ran out - by the time they responded, my warranty HAD run out - and now its 6 months out of warranty but I still have the same problem .......so their solution is that I now need to send it in for an "Out of Warranty" repair at my cost - for a 500quid piece of kit that only worked as described for the first 18 months ..........

Strangely enough......

I've just sent 'another' email to Garmin Support, chasing up for a solution to the original issue which I raised with them some 7 WEEKS AGO.

So far, I've been receiving polite 'standard / neutral' acknowledgments, but there is no indication that the matter is being progressed any. It's also the fact that I've had to be proactively chasing them that grinds somewhat!
 
Not good chaps, try calling them at a relatively non busy time. They allegedly open their lines at 08:30, most people are on the way to work then. Either that or mid morning/mid afternoon.

I hope this is a case of being a victim of their own popularity rather than cutting back on support staff.
