Re: Postponed

Sorry guys but due to a number of unforseen circumstances the ride planned for next weekend, 1/2 Nov, will have to be postponed to a future date.
If anyone has suggestions for a suitable date we could do a ride around tarmaced backlanes of Snowdonia. All doable on oilheads with road tyres.

Ey up Tim, any thoughts on a bit of a back roads do mid December?

Chris

Tim TKC80's on order, would love to make a weekend of it, got a date lined up yet,
Need a hand with owt?
If so e-mail [email protected]

Ok Dave, Chris and others how about 7/8 Dec.
What shall we do?

1) tarmac back lanes in Snowdonia all fine on road tyres.

2) something slightly more 'adventurous' where TKC's would be an advantage but not essential.

3) a moderate ride requiring Knobblies

Also we can arrange a day of full on trail riding which may be too difficult on a big GS but ok if you can handle a GS 650.

wales off road

Hi Tim,
suggestion no'3 sounds good, your last idea sounds better
though, all day trail riding im up for that for sure,i've got my new TKC80s fitted all I need is confirmation of a date and I will be there.Andy

Tim being a bit of a girly off road virgin, i'd go for no2 bordering no 3. But i suppose as long as there are many hands to lift me and me bike up........
dave

Lets offroad

Right then, just got mi beasty cleaned up from parkwood do, so must be time to get muddy again.....

Tim, I'm up for the 7th noprobs, and I shall be mostly wearing tkc80 and the expression 'it won't go through/up/down that':D so I suppose that means a 2 boarding 3 ride for me also

Cheers

Chris

I'm busy for next few days so will finalise meeting etc after that.
Tim

Pre xmas ride

Right then.

It's on for next Saturday 7th using knobblies (TKC80's) or similar.

Arrive Friday if you wish I'll sort food, beds etc. you may need to bring a sleeping bag, but don't worry if you haven't got one.

Saturday - 8/9am start. Ride. Back lanes, rocky/grassy tracks no deep mud at all. The route will depend on weather conditions but hope to get high up in the mountains.

Evening to be arranged but food and drink (and bollox) will feature almost exclusively but not necessarily in that order.

Sunday - perhaps quick ride to 'Pete's Eats' for breakfast then I guess most will need to get back.

So I have an idea of numbers could all those coming please confirm either here, by private message or email [email protected]
and I shall give directions if you need them.

Hello all,

This looks too good to miss. Count me in.

Riding high up in the mountains is fine, but I'm not sure how well the tyres will grip on snow! Weather looks a bit wintry later this week.

Tim - I've sent you an e-mail. Can you give me directions for Friday?

Ian
(newly TCK80-shod)
