I am off to this event next week and have a day spare for a ride out and wondered whether anyone could point me in the right direction! the trip is being organised by the brother-in-law so I am not sure where I am staying but any suggestions for a good piece of tarmac with stunning scenary would be appreciated.

If this post is in the wrong place apologies but it seemed best placed here.

Mourne Mountains

Dont bypass the Kingdom of Mourne in County Down. Spectacular views of the Mourne Mountains with loads of single track GS roads. If you are coming down this far PM me with a mobile number and if it suits, we could meet up to give you a short guided tour of some of my favorite routes followed by coffee and stickies

It's not far to Donegal. Last year we took a trip to Malin Head. Bust a fork seal on Donegal roads.
