Morning All,

I am planning a trip into Spain next year (April) (Plymouth / Santander) and looking for recommendations for a place to use as a base, I have booked a few nights in Potes, but ideally would like to try somewhere else that would have a few bars / restaurants and not to far from the scenic routes.

I'M possibly looking at doing a few of the Ride recommended Routes which have marked Towns / Villages but not sure which ones to possibly stop at, as I have never been to any of them.

Any constructive criticism will not be taken on board:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm in Soria now. Lovely town. 2e with a Tapas for big bottle of Mahou & 1.5e for a coffee.
What's not to like?
Chilly this morning, was 4c but I'm sat on the square, in the sun having a coffee and it's glorious.

You could also try Burgos, Avila, Pamplona.
You're spoilt for choice in Spain.

Except none of your recommendations are in NW Spain !

Lugo is lovely as is Vigo.

Try a night in the hills at Parador de Santo Estevo or at the Parador de Corias near Cangas del Narcea
