Wanted Norton 850 Commando

Hi, just been on that journey and ended up with a rather nice 1973 850. The first thing I learnt was that my idea of good condition appears to vary drastically from other people’s. If you search for the thread I started there were several useful links posted.
For £23 membership of the Norton Owners Club may help you. John Dunn is the font of all knowledge on commandos and is very helpful.
Good luck.

Hi Mick I have both a Mk 2a and a Mk 3 and I think the Mk 2 is the better bike but if you need the electric start option then the Mk 3 is easier although it is available for the Mk 2 at a considerable price

A good friend of mine has an immaculate 750 interstate commando. He’s had it for over 45 years and is as described. He’s on the verge of selling it as he cannot ride it any more. Beautiful bike in black, but the electric start kit is at least a third of the bikes value.

Would be interested in details and a price Adrian. Many thanks
