Norton Commando 961

Hi All,
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of the Norton Commando 961 from 2023 after TVS took over and revamped the bike. Particularly interested in the experience folk may have had and the improvements for the new version, reliability, warranty issues amd dealer back up with any quirks it may have.
I know youtube can be your friend, but just wondered if any tossers here in the UK hve opinions.

a friend in local bike club got one .
wouldn't move , started but cut out , i fiddled with s/stand switch ...off he went .
took it for 1st service , they changed the battery ?
rode 5 miles did it again. they picked him up and dropped him at home .
some emails and a convo followed .
rejected bike , new one on his doorstep 5 days later.
YOU'RE TELLING ME THEY CAN'T TAKE AN EDUCATED GUESS AT A S/STAND SWITCH ?
2nd nearest dealer to me.
