In a word:Yes...................

I used V5 on a previous trip and it was next to useless as it only had the major roads/towns, ie the European basemap......

Just planned this year's trip using V6 and the mapping detail is very good, right down to street level in all significant towns and even some very minor cross country tracks, recommended by Norwegian friends show up....

Only you can determine whether it's worth the dosh......but I wouldn't be without it....

I used version 5 in Norway last year and had no problems with it at all. I went as far north as the Arctic Circle. It depends on the extent of the detail you need.

We went with a map of Europe (with most of it cut off) without any problems. All depends what you need really.
