Hi all

Maybe this should be in newbies bit, but anyway, I keep forgetting to turn the choke off, then after 1/2hr go to turn it off and it has turned itself off ~ is this usual? is it automatic or does the vibration just make it turn off? or the pixies?

It's not a choke....on an 11xx, it's just a fast idle control......it does nothing to mixture, it just raises the tickover.

The stupid lever (on a lebbenfiddy anyway) is just held in place by a tiny weeny ball bearing and this does wear the plastic it rubs on, so yes, they do release themselves, nothing to worry about, they all do that sir

Does that mean if I fix it I can use it as a round town cruise control ?
