Not moaning anymore.

I have been moaning on here about the rubbish suspension on my bike since it was bought new this march (GS TE).
Two weeks ago I took it in to Wollastons Northampton so they could have a look, they agreed it wasn't right and within two hours of getting home I had a call saying BMW had approved a replacement rear shock.
The shock was replaced today during the 6000ml service as well as the front stantion fix.
The ride home was a revelation, the 'Road' damping now does something useful instead of making me feel seasick and the back of the bike sits about 3/4" higher. The front end now feels so much more planted. Now the bike is fixed it is obvious that the bike was not right from the showroom.

Ah, bless you for thinking that a dealer actually carries out a proper PDI, they've had your money, given you a warranty, now fuck off on your new bike so that they can claim the cost of any issues back.

The front end issue was not an issue back in march.
