not my week!!!

This is turning out to be the worst week of my life,

Mon,
decided to go over manchester way to pick up some odds and sods for the bike, went in my van, just as im a mile or so away, gearbox breaks, stranding me a long way from home with a heafty repair. get recovered home,

Tue,
new gearbox needed, up to £1000 to repair, end up scrapping van.

Wed,
took Gs in to local garage to do basic service, £100 lighter, then my mobile phone stops working

Thu,
on way to work, Gs breaks down and wont start, Bmw recovery called, work really pissed of with me, get recovered home, bike now on way to rainbow


i give up,

just hope thats your lot of bad luck in 1 lump and you are in the clear for next 12 months, mine is spead evenly.

oh it gets better than this, i just didnt post it, my dad was rushed into hospital last week, where it looks like he will be staying until the end!!!

Maybe i should have said 'my worst month'

You have my sympathies - I had a bit of a bad week when I lost my luggage on the way back from TT in Wales a couple of weekends ago....
sorry to hear about your Dad too..

Any idea what the problem was on your bike -did it just stop ? I also had to be loaded onto an RAC trailer at the weekend -so I'm waiting for the next "event"... I was more disappointed than angry I guess.
Hope this might help a bit....

not sure about bike, past few weeks its been a pain to start, then running rough, but after few miles all been well, local bike mechanic had a look and said it was due a service, altho it was only done 1000 miles ago. so
plugs, oil and oil filter, and pipercross air filter changed wed.
today was really difficult to start, managed about 3 miles before cutting out and not re starting??

any ideas?

possible coil packs? blocked or knackered injectors? TB's re balancing?

Hall sensors?.

It does sound a bit like the Hall sensors playing up.Not an unknown problem so if you do a search,you will find the test/check procedures.

well got bike back from rainbow, seems that the ecu had slightly come away and was not sending the correct fuel messages
anyway bike is now runing like a dream, and they cured the RID oil temp problem,
