Any recommendations for a notebook?

Off to Cambodia at Xmas, want something I can download photos on to, check emails & FB while I'm away.

At home, I'd like to use it for streaming to the TV.

No idea how much I want to spend or what I should be looking at? Not bothered about MS Office as I have that on the PC.

Thanks

What camera will you be using, maybe you can download them to your phone and send them on from there

Go buy a chromebook. Lite weight last hours on a charge and if you get or have a chromecast it will natively cast to it. They all have hdmi as well if that would suit you better. The OS also won't screw up on you at the most inconvenient time. Did I mention they can be pretty cheap as well.

and £150 gets you one from John Lewis which includes a 2 year guarantee. 11.6" screen and 900g weight make it pretty portable.

Thanks for the info, have an offer of a cheap used notebook from a friend, will check it out this weekend.
