Putting new tyres on myself. Hours trying to get the bloody things off and on again. NOW I know that taking the valve sensor out is the best way to the tyres off and on.

It depends how stiff the tyres are. I've fitted TKC80's easily, yet struggled with PR4 Trails. I just take it to a local tyre fitted now to save wrecking the anodising on my rims or skinning my knuckles.
I started so had to finish. Some of it has to do with me losing loads of muscle a few years and they tyres were tight. plus I had just come off a 12 hour night shift, so these are some of my excuses.
