HI all, new here (thread in appropriate place) but I have a question for the knowledgable amongst you please....
my new GS Ad has pannier racks fitted and come with a top box, now looking at it the box isn't a vario one, but can anyone tell from the pics if Vario panniers will fit the pannier rack on the bike ?
Many thanks

Not to those frames, but you could easily take them off and fit the bits neaded for the varios. Which cost around £100.
right.....thanks for the V quick reply....:beerjug:
NEXT daft question (and I appreciate it might be difficult to tell from the photo)
which Panniers DO fit those frames ?

B*W Adventure panniers are the ones for those mounts

Steve

About £500 second hand, £750 brand new. 6 locks, can be keyed to the ignition. Inner bags available, any other answers needed :D

:beerjug: Many thanks to the pair of you, hopefully thats it for panniers...;)
However....I can't guarantee there be no more daft questions on other subjects....
this whole Be Em milarky is all a bit new to me....seems to be another language ! :D

Just a word to the wise, questions about "oil" and "tyres" tend to raise some peoples hackles. Best try searching before asking ;)

LOL thats the same EVERYWHERE mate...:D

I have my own tastes in oil and tyres so there shouldn't be an issue there....:bounce1

Funners.

You will NOT be able to fit Vario panniers, because the rear rack on the GSA fits into the places that are needed for the vario box racks.

To fit the vario boxes you will need to take off the rear rack AND fit the vario side pieces.

Hope this assists

Thanks mate:thumb much appreciated, I was swaying towards the "Adventure" panniers anyway as I have the top box, but that deffo rules it out.

Of coures its another language, they are German for fecks sake, they don't don't speak english and you are not allowed to mention the war on this site, all other types of racism especially if it involves the yanks is fine.

Now off you go an spend 750 pieces of gold on the panniers that will fit that very nice rack that BMW have conveniently placed on your new bike... cunning little buggers arn't they.
