Nuts

Well, I've had the Harley for 6 months, and a nut has fallen off (not me). It's one of those chrome castellated/acorn nuts that hold the windscreen to the windscreen frame.

I have found these: Acorn nuts and the website says they fit the bike, but doesn't mention the windscreen. As I'm a Harley newbie and don't even own any imperial spanners (yet), would any of you old-time harley-owning experts be able to confirm that these will fit?

Here's a pic of the missing nut next to one that's not vibrated off. All help gratefully received.

If I remember rightly yours is a 2005 Deluxe?

If so, I think it's a 1/4-20 acorn nut, part number 94004-90T.

I use the Thunderbike parts diagrams, Jersey H-D used to have the same system but obviously, they are no more.

You were spot on with the part & part number and the nut is now on the bike with a dollop of Locktite.
