this pub has the odd bike out side , beer not over priced either.

shall we give it ago ?... but it will take folk turning up , to make this work.
i'm sure alot of use are busy etc ...but lets give it ago with out lots of reminders and effort from only one person, (aka rushy) did alot of reminders etc to make it happen each month for years .. so see you there.. just in case you are not sure who i'm .

What about two meets. As our region is quite an elongated one someone from Carlisle is unlikely to want to ride to the windmill and visa versa. So If we had two venues we could alternate them. One venue on the last Tuesday and another at some other time in the month. If we wanted to visit the other group in much the same way some of us trip down to Shropshire then that could be an option.

you hit on the nail, the windmill meet was boring, sorry but it was
the folk i talked to like , a gray headed old fox , a white headed chap and a totaly boring chicken from the Stone area made me think not to bother turning up ..

nar all joking a side meets are not realy for me, but it is for other folk..
so i'm just adding a few ideas that may make people turn up , a more central place may help... but finding the right venue is a must..which may take some time.. the pub i've put forward is just a idea., the are better ones i'm sure .i think we all know a good pub close to us....so lets try a few out and see how it turns out... one with a little ride into the counrty side would be nice

very open minded..
but we could do something along the lines of changing the meet each month.
one up Carisle way and one more central..
but the guys local to that area realy should push that months meet.

2 meets in the month is the way to go and in fact there was another further north , somewhere near preston way. IIRC Paul Young and a few others used to frequent it, cant remember where they used to meet tho'.
Deffo have one in each location and make 'em different days of the month so that there can be some 'cross pollenation' so to speak. Just need a proper northerner to make it happen
