Occasional time clock reset??

Indeed an electrician I am, and as always several question and previous experience will normally shed light on a problem......

Have you tried looking at fuse 3. This is the most common cause of a clock resetting. Look at this before the expense of a new battery.

Especially if you plug your bike into an Optimate (other brands are also available) which disguises a nearly fucked battery just enough for it to convince you that everything is hunky dory, just before it fails on you completely and leaves you stranded without prior notice.

Resetting the clock IS prior notice....take heed!!!
