Ocean Plymouth

Took the 1200GS to Ocean for its 6k service yesterday: excellent all round.
Even wired in the loom for my new heated seat free of charge! Had a 1200ST courtesy bike for the day, nice bike but not a patch on the GS . My bike even had a clean.
I find Ocean hard to fault. Recommended .

I've been singing their praises for ages.

Helpful, not pushy and enthusiastic bunch.

Bearing in mind that their only real competition in this part of the world is at Dorchester, they don't have to be as good as they are (with their virtual monopoly).

Took bike in today on off chance that they could help at short notice as ABS not functioning. I'd tried the obvious things like checking battery voltage and clearance at wheels but no luck.

Ocean were brilliant when I explained that I'm on the ferry to France in the morning. Despite the workshop being full they managed to fit me in within half an hour durung which time I enjoyed decent coffee and even some carrot and orange cake. Read through a few bike magazines in cafe including this months Ride that has a big feature on R1150GSs.

Bike was returned fully sorted with ABS reset.

Total charge for all of this? Nil, zero, nothing!

Can't praise these guys highly enough, as they are very professional, friendly and enthusiastic. Well worth the nice ride down there.

Don't get me wrong - Thats great of them, and a lot of other dealers would have had you book the bike in etc etc and charged you. So lots of praise to them they didn'thave to do it, wish more dealers could be so helpful

But it's only a 20 second job

Congrats To Ocean

Things like Sid has mentioned has got Ocean on the top of the RIDE mag rider survey beating CW this year. I for one can understand why.

Even I know how to do it. But it would of cost you a pint of Murphy's.
