I have just taken delivery of a new Odyssey Battery for my 05 1200GS, but am having difficulty getting the battery leads to fit onto the battery studs.
It is as though the battery should come with female thread adaptors so that the ring terminal of the battery leads fit flush with the top of the battery, and secured in place with a bolt - possible with the same bolts as those fitted to the original battery.
Has anyone had similar problems and some advice for me, because there seems no way to fit the battery leads onto the recessed battery studs, particularly the positive lead, which is way too short.
