My 1100GS has been labouring slightly to turn over when very cold. Its not yet failed to start but I can tell its on the verge, and likely to happen at some point soon especially given its cold up here in Scotland, bike is being ridden less often, and i dont have anywhere to keep it on a trickle charge.
I have an Odyssey PC680 bought for my airhead, but since thats in bits I was going to use the odyssey in the GS. I know it will fit the tray, but have read that AGM batteries like a higher than standard voltage from the alternator. Its a 1995 with (i believe) a 50A bosch unit.
Will this be ok or should I be looking for more info on this 'mod' ive seen mentioned to up the output?
Cheers.
