Does anyone know whether a set of OEM spotlights from a 2016 BMW GS LC will fit the 2018 model? I suspect the light fitting will be fine but the wiring harness may be different?

The connectors are different. You can replace the cabling with the newer one. Not sure if it makes sense financially. I have water repellent waxy grease on mine to keep the connectors dry.

It is sent from my phone. So fucking what?

Connection to the lights or the wiring loom?

Both I think. Have a look on realoem. But definitely there is now a waterproof connector but the cabling is still routed the same.

I removed the OEM spots from my 2016 GSLC and refitted them onto my 2018 bike with no issues, just plugged them straight into my new bike.

However I did need to get the dealer to ask the bike’s ECU to recognise the new lamps which took two hours to download, but they did this for free during the 600 mile service.

I had the same OEM spots on my 2014 bike before my 2016, so I’ve had the same lamps on my last 3 GS-LC’s :thumb
