Anyone with the knowledge interested in having an off road run out next Saturday? I don't know enough routes to make it worthwhile myself but willing to share the little I know with anyone prepared to have a go.
I am no off road riding god but it would have to be bad to faze me though I would be equally happy just to have a bimble on a few lanes.

I will be riding my New to me HP2 so nothing too muddy :D

Hi blueranger, are you still up for this ? been trying all weekend to change it but it's looking like it will be a late start for me as I may have to do a delivery on saturday morning and won't finish until 12.

Erm yes but as I've not heard from made plans to go put on Sunday green Lane hunting between Bollington and Monsal head....I guess Sunday afternoon is no good to you?

Yeah that's the one. I've got way points for the lanes programmed into the nav so can just ride from there to where ever for however long.

By all means if you have any roads you wanna do all adds to the mix. Assume when you.say reccy on Saturday..just you? I'd prefer to go Sunday out of the two days.

At the mo it looks like there would be 4 of us then for the Sunday.

It's a shame i'm not around this weekend, I could have taken you for a good days riding in the Peaks - :thumb

Hey, Mr Dreamer - I've only just seen this thread and would have loved to have joined you, I know a fair few easy trails up around the Bakewel(ish) area, all suitable for a big bike.

Sadly, I'm away off on the begining of a Tomos adventure this w/e but any other time just give me a shout and we can meet up and do some trails :beerjug:

Hi, blueranger pointed me towards this thread as we were discussing a ride out in another part of the forum. I live just North of Manchester, and am on an F800GS Adventure, and will definitely come along on Sunday. Just let me know when and where to meet. My number is 07889 130039. Cheers, Chris.

If any of you guys up that end wouldn't mind showing a soft shandy drinking southerner a few trails I would be immensely gratefull:clap this weekend is out but apart from that:thumb.

Suggest we meet a 1pm on Macclesfield railway station car park the car park is under the bridge on the other side of the main road . There is a tesco with petrol station near by to top up on top quality fuel.

I will remember next time Andres, I head back to France in about 10 days but return late Nov. for a couple of weeks and will pm you then.

Mick I would love to come out on one of your trail rides some time but will e-mail you later this week for the waypoints, which I thank you for in advance.

Blueranger and anyone else interested I will do my best to be in the station car park at 1pm but please allow me a few minutes grace as it will be tight for me due to work commitments.

Mick, I've dropped you an email. The more information the better I think, I've found the lack of information about where you can ride the hardest thing about taking this up as a hobby recently.
Regards, Chris
