Heading out on a road trip in June for a couple of weeks on the bike. The basic route once over the water will be Calais, Belfort, Geneva, Turin, Nimes, Carcassonne then to the Circuit De Catalunya to watch the Moto GP. Back home via Bordeaux, La Rochelle. With the good lady on the back.

Nice one....doing a similar trip on my old fashioned 1200 GSA with my mate on his new LC and other halves to the moto GP....should be good but taking slightly longer to get back by the looks of things as we divert off to the Alps for a spot of R&R.

Have a great trip.

Cheers

Have a good one.:thumb I'm off to Italy next Thursday on mine.:beerjug:

Hope your good lady is comfortable on that seat........it's a long time in the saddle from Barcelona to Bordeaux and North........but better than Wigan to Skegness and......

Have fun and sunshine......what is sunshine!

We are taking 5 days to get back from Barcelona so it should be OK;)

Just arrived in Andorra.

Barcelona tomorrow, so far the bike has not missed a beat.

There's no greater feeling than being away on the bike, and knowing that you're riding day after day having an adventure:JB:beerjug:

Currently blatting through France sans wife and 36 pairs of shoes in the top box plus twice as much in the panniers. Sunny, warm and no Tesco lorries.

Impressed by the electronic suspension. Very comfortable and compliant. Love switching between modes and feeling/seeing the bike rise and fall a couple of inches

Still think top is too low geared as it does 4500 revs or so at 90 mph but makes overtakes easy I guess. Hitting 45 mpg.

The engine is star of the show.

The bike is getting a lot of attention. We were parked up outside a cafe. Half a dozen German riders actually stopped parked up and spent 20 minutes looking at and chatting about the bike.
