Itching to get my tkc's dirty. Does anyone know of any off road space or green lanes for me to get on for some ore morocco training? Any help or assistance gratefully recieved!

Petcul is the man for this sort of thing, he usually gets us up to the t*ts in mud even when we stay on the road:D

You could start with the keilder forest drive if you don't have a lot of off road experience just to get the feel of it. If you want something a little more advanced I'm sure Peter will be along soon.

Apart from Petcul most the NE crew are plain soft. When I offered to do a little "training" on a great route I found, they all bailed.

This thread may be of interest to you.

Theres a fair amount of trails in the NYM park area, if there of interest. I've put some on Google Maps (not all easy!) Here

Your best bet is to buy an ordnance survey map and look for the unclassified roads on there (usually a line of green dots).

If you want some up in Northumberland have a look here. HTH

Nope, this forum attracts ego's. You haven't got it yet, but Chris has. ;)

You may be a big gay hom, a failed Stella drinker and a communist.

But you are definately not a communist.

:beerjug:

Thinking of a silly jaunt to rival your/our day trip to Tongue....

It's all a piss take Morty Bollox, you need to slacken up. :blagblah

But if you want to ride or learn / improve TRF.
