Generally 25 psi front and rear seems to work ok on rocky terrain. Any less and you risk dinging a rim, I'm sure you know how expensive damage to wheels can be
If you're doing a lot of mud, higher pressures might actually work better, as rather than deforming the tyre stays rigid and the knobbles 'punch' through the mud to get grip.
...if the TKCs on the rear are tubed & no security bolts, beware of too low pressure leading to tyre creep, pulling the valve out of the tube. Best to leave the locking nut on the valve loose so as to enable checking this.
I use 4 psi for mud and 6psi for rocks, in my tubeless rear tyre - no rim locks obviously and works fine...................gives a nice flat 'footprint' for maximum grip................. however it's on my Montesa 315R Trials bike
I tried them on the Off Road course in Wales and they were pretty good, brill off road and good enough on road - bit noisier than the tourances though...I'll keep 'em on till next month, when I'm going on one of Paul Devall's Blockhouse Runs to Bruges...
