Fantastic Day

What a GREAT day - Pukmister and I are not washing our bikes till tomorrow - just so we can rub our mates nose in it!!!

Er.....why on earth use a tow strap to pull it out of the puddle???

There were easily enough people there to lift the thing clean out of the water......

Did they all wuss out of getting their tootsies wet

:eek

I've a 23meg AVI file of the Armstrong (think thats what it is) getting a bit wet...

Havent got a clue how to share it... too big to email as well. :(

Erm....Yes :o

:spitfire That's not on is it!!

If someone goes down or gets stuck, everyone should pile in and if that means getting their feet wet, so be it!

sounds like there should be some peopple who should be a bit ashamed :P

What A splendid day….thanks Steptoe :thumb

And thanks to all you guys…great bunch of lads. :clap

Bill, you couldn't lift it. The (very wet, sloppy, icky stickey... you get the picture) mud came up to my knees (and I'm 6'3"!), so the only way to get it out was to pull it...granted, one or two more straps would have been useful

And as for (sorry I don't know your name) who then came through the same spot on his Armstrong thing and got stuck in exactly the same way :mmmm

Anyway, big :thumb to Steptoe for arranging this Grand Day Out! I'm now not quite the novice I once was :thumb . I can now do advanced off-roadie type things like:
Look At The Road More Than Six Foot In Front Of The Wheel

And even:
Switch Off The Heated Grips Whilst Standing On The Pegs

:bow :bow

Next time I hope to move up to the Uber Meister class, including Changing Gear Whilst Standing Up, and Use The Brakes Once In A While Rather Than Coast To A Stop

Thanks again!

Stunt kiwi

I'm the guy who took launched his GS, and I must first say thanks to all who helped me and my GS on both offs.
Thanks to Neil for organising the day.
The bad news is I have broken my ankle, so no bike for a while. Two weeks till my next check up and I'm off to NZ 2 days after that.
And great photos too.
