Off to Europe on my Basic

Well i managed to get through my learning curve and gave my Kalahari a big service, so i am going to take it over to europe for a week on the 24th and test my handy work!. Got 7 days to enjoy with my mate on his 100GS, so thought of heading south through the Alps and down to Italy, maybe Croatia as well. It's his first time on two wheels to europe so i want to try and get him hooked by getting through some good rides and blow away scenery. If anyone has a good route for a 7 day tour i'm all ears.
Cant wait to do a tour on my airhead, have covered a few euro miles on my GS 1150 in the past but hope this will be more of a "Basic" pleasure on an older bike.
Get to use my new kelly kettle as well and some new MSR kit!! Wooopeeee...cant wait

Stop trying to talk me out of it..........i'm going and thats the end of it.
Leave Friday for the south coast and cross Saturday morning.
Gonna head for Italy and maybe Croatia...lovely cant wait.
Hope its sun and blue sky all the way!

I hope it goes well, Captain Black. The Basic won't be quite as long legged as the 1150 on the 'transit' legs, but it'll be more fun when you get there.
