Off we go again 15th - 17th August 2025

Yes.

Thank you Sid & Anne,
Your generosity is amazing, and I can't thank you enough, look forward to next year 👍

Home,
and going through the process of unpacking, and sorting stuff out

What did I need, not need

What worked/ not worked

I know I need to take more pairs of glasses, I managed to loose 1 pair, and break 2 further pairs

And not enough cables for charging

And a better hydration system, the BMW insert bag is a right faf

Huge thank you to Sid and Anne for a brilliant weekend. Also what a great bunch of lads and lasses from this forum! Terrific to put faces to avatars at last. Special thanks to Mick and Janet for chauffeuring me around and helping me sort Sid’s GS. Kipping in a small tent in 40C temps was something of an experience, I was sweating in places I didn’t know had pores! Thanks to Simon too for all the grub. Lovely people all of you!

Arrived home late last night and now unpacked.

A huge Thank you Sid & Anne for hosting and inviting us all along. It's a huge amount of work and expense + having every man and his dog use your bathroom etc can't be that great.

Hope everything is packed away now and you can have a very well earned rest.

Thanks again and look forward to next year.

Massive thanks to all who attended and made it such a great evet. It wuld have been impossible without so much help both before and after with set-up and tidying up so well. It was great to see so many people having fun in the pool acting like kids with the water pistols etc. Mobile phones were forgotten about and people laughed ad joked together.
Simon was occasionally released from the bbq area to have a break from constanntly cooking for everyone so big thanks to him.
We had over 70 people on Saturday night including the local mayor who ejoyed himself and consumed my whisky.
i am now completely knackered. Doctor has just told me I must have complete rest untl at least end Sept.

Please post up any photos you have to show everyone the fun we had.
all the best, Sid and Ann.

What a fantastic event, again! Great to catch up with some old faces and meet some new ones. My mate Warren, who is on his first ever France tour, was blown away and is having a fantastic time. We are now in Bagnoles sur l'Orne in southern Normandy after a two leg trip. that took in a visit to Oradour Sur Glane. Got here despite two road closures that fecked up our planned route. For the first time this trip we have woken up to cloud, fog and drizzle. Heading north towards Caen, Pegasus Bridge to show Warren some of the D-Day sites.

Thank you all.

The big gal was on camera duty this time as i was a little busy with other duties, so only have a few pics, but as usual we had a great time and cant thank Sid and Anne enough for putting on such a good event.
if anyone is wondering about the trial bike half on the trailer lets just say i wouldnt recomend using this method of starting a bike.

Bit late to reply, my apologies.

Well another Treillou weekend with Sid & Ann. A huge thanks to our wonderful hosts for an event that never disappoints & only gets better.

Simon - thanks for ensuring we were all fed, and to those that kept the fridges well stocked.

It was wonderful to see a mix of the usual/new faces, and the biking attendees certainly do bond at such events, particularly for the chat and the clearing up/disassembly on Sunday morning.

Since leaving I’ve ridden to:
Lagarde
Cadéac (biblical thunder storm overnight)
Eaux Bonnes
Linas de Broto (ES)
Coll de Nargo (ES)
…all minor roads & through the Pyrenees

Leaving Coll de Nargo a little later & heading back into France (Moulis) to begin my zig zag route towards home.

Will post some events pictures when I get back.

Love to all

Once again a fantastic event due to so many people, but notably Anne, Sid and our chef Simon.

Thank you for the kind invitation once again. It was bloody hot but an hour in the pool on Saturday cooled me down and set me up for the day.

I have an appointment with a therapist booked for Tuesday next week due to seeing Sid in a short leather skirt and wig, from behind!!!
