Off we go again 15th - 17th August 2025

Once again i am honoured and look forward to supporting Sid n Ann by trying not to set fire to the barbeque and surrounding area (you had to be there) nor poison anyway.

Feel free to join me for a quiet pot of early morning coffee, just don't expect, or try, any conversation.

😉

Always sounds a good do this. One day I'll make it if I'm allowed. :)

Regarding music.

I've made an offline backup for remote storage to be kept safe at Sid's.

A song list can be found here

Latest news.
Yes it is going to be F'ing HOT. Don't forget your swimming trunks. Pool is finally 100% ready. Pool man came yesterday to fit new pump for Robbie the robot. Hoovered up any debris so looking great. I will need a few strong people to help me position the new p.ool cover.

Been busy this morning sorting the garden. On my ride on mower making sure all grass is good to camp on. Still working on new patio cover to provide more shade.
Lake level has dropped in last week as the farmers draw water for their crops. It should now be possible to walk all around the lake. Fishing rods available if you fancy that. Also have kayak to row around.

I might set up a few trials sections if there is enough interest? Basis figure of 8 for beginners and a few challenging one for the Adam Raga fans. The Polaris quad is all serviced and ready to go.
Our chef, Sumprat, flies in this Saturday. He will be chained to the cooker/bbq for the next two weeks.

We have excellent entertainment lined up for Saturday night. Friends from the local Am-dram group will do a few acts a bit similar to Britains got talent but just for fun. Anybody is welcome to have a slot if they have any funny skills. Mr Flipfly of this parish has promisec to take part. There will be a trophy and bottle of bubbly for best act.

We are beginning to stock up on the drinks including zero alcohol lager as that was popular last year.

Simon/Sumprat is prepared to cook for veggies and there are many acres of grass for them to graze.on.

Full workshop facilities are available if anyone needs anything including tyre changing.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

Early arrivals will definitely be given tasks to help with. These include:
Fixing several chairs that failed last year under the weight of a few xxxl guests.
Moving tables around.
Erecting the shelters on the lawn.
Setting up the lighting
General lifting and moving.

I honestly think that this could be the best one ever.

See you soon.

Its never to late to turn up as we have lots of space and all welcome.

My wife Ann/Pinklady insists that I remind folks that I'm still not 100% fit and will have to disappear a few times for various tests and scans etc.

Thanks Sid, we are heading to France tomorrow and will be arriving at your place from the south after a ride through the Pyrenees.

@Crapaud - Hi Sid.....can I reserve the kayak for an hour on Sat morning (early-ish) as I'd like to paddle to the middle & take some video footage .
