Good afternoon gentle folk.

I have installed in the house utility room, a 220W high speed usb charger.

It takes either traditional USB A, or USB C plugs.

It has 6 sockets as follows.
USB A 18W x 2
USB C PD 20w x 2
USB C PD 45W x 1
USB C PD 100W x 1

PD = Power Distribution.

The 100w should be enough to charge USB charged laptop .

Bring your own cable and use at your own risk, ensure your device can be charged at these rates.

Some people have asked about time of arrival and departure.

You can turn up any time from now on. If your plans change and you find you would like to get here earlier, then no problem. Yes it is hot at almost 40° but you can jump straight in pool and chill out.

For departures, you can stay for up to a week afterwards if you want. It is a good base for exploring the area with great biking roads.

I’ve just done the same. Everything is now in the panniers and roll bag, ready to be loaded and strapped down. Ev and I are booked on the half past midnight sailing (technically, Thursday morning) so I’ll be keeping my mattress accessible for kipping on the boat like a commoner

Just a few bits of clothing and toiletries to pack after dinner and we are ready to go.

As it happens, I have had two punctures last month, at same time. Both are literally 1cm apart. So fixed that too, should be good for the trip, then when back, I’ll pop another rear hoop on the back. Seems a waste to throw it with 4.5mm of thread in the middle and nearer 6mm on the outside. Probably be the last tyre going on this bike.
