I'm looking to get some lightish offroad boots to wear on my EXC (which arrived today).
I have some old Alpinestar Tech 6s which I used to wear when I briefly dallied with a motocross track for a few races.(Well,the guys at the front were racing).
I can still use them but I holed them on the exhaust and I really need something waterproof.
I also found them quite heavy and lacking in feel to change gear etc .
I see that Sidi to quite a range of offroad boots.
These are at the cheaper end and described as lightweight :
Has anyboy got any other recommendations ?
I don't want anything fancy as they are going to get trashed and abused with salt water etc as I will be mainly using the bike on local beaches.
Hopefully the boots would then be suitable for using on the Level One course next year and the BM Pyrenees trip which I'm planning on going on next Oct.
