Has anyone any experience of Riders of the lost Trail or Redtread. Both operate offroad packages near malaga, which is handy for flights from Cork. Any info would be great thanks, Alan.
I don't have any experience but have looked at them myself and thought about going for a weekend. If you get round to it and are looking to make up numbers I might be interested. Depends on the date etc. I have some magazine reviews somewhere which I can dig out and email you if your interested. Cheers !
Without doubt, the area in which Redtread and Trailblazers operate is superb trail-riding country which is why I organise Tossers-in-the-Tejeda every year (the Tejeda is a national park of 102,000 acres).
Ed who runs Redtread and Graham who runs Trailblazers will both give you a great trip. But you'll get something rather different from each.
Redtread have newer bikes and your rides will be orgainsed to the inch. If you bend a bike, expect to pay for it. Accomodation is in the Redtread villa but you eat out in town each evening.
Trailblazers are rather more relaxed in their approach. You will stay at the same hotel I'm using next week and you can either eat at the hotel or wander into town.
I would ride with Trailblazers, but each to their own.
