Most important as theres lots of NEWBIES to GSing that need the chance of 1st time offroading, not to be put off by folks that can do it.

6X (Percy) has offered a ROAD run, could do with a second road run or a FORD run !

Ford run.......on :)

:beerjug:

(she'll have my knackers if i don't :o )

I'll go, as long as it's not the local pogo stick boys leading on a ride through deep ruts 80% of the time. Like it was two years ago...
I did not really enjoy that. :(

What's mister Sturgess riding if I may ask? :rob

Cheers,
Michel

no DEEP ruts, that was TIM FRENCH I bet, later to buy a 1200 and go traveling.

No don`t worry Paul is 60 years old and knows ever bump.

PLEASE STOP RIGHT THERE !!!!!!!

I have agreed with Steptoe (Neil) that only FIRST TIMERS will be going with him, this is most IMPORTANT.

As I have organised a GUIDE for the true off roaders.

Please FIRST TIMERS ONLY WITH NEIL (STEPTOE)

As it was very enbarrassing last year as only 2 riders went on the guided ride and 25/30 went with steptoe.

The guide PAUL STURGESS has 30 years PLAIN RIDING under his belt, hes 60 years old and a true gentleman willing to give his time.

SO 1st TIMERS with NEIL please only.

BAKES

:thumb2 fair enough

i wasnt there last year :augie

put me down for the Guided ride with Paul Sturgis please :beerjug:

i cant wait :Motomartin

At the moment Proff I'll be in my (works) van with Shaz - fragile back and all that. So I won't be offroading either - Mercedes Sprinters aren't that agile in the mud.

Maybe I'll follow the road ride to pick up all the 1200 riders waiting for recovery? :augie Fancy joining me? :D

If you have a Towbar, use my Trailer as well.
Following Fannys ford ride might be fruitful :augie :augie

Can I go off roading with Clive again please??..........:D :thumb2 :bounce1 :clap
Gawd, does that mean I have to stay sober on Friday night again then.
I'll try and remember to leave the pillion seat and grab handles fitted this time so you don't have to worry so much about what you are hanging on to in the dark

It was Ruts and ruts and in between some ruts and the worst of it was the grass was waist deep and you couldn't see where the ruts were !!! I was merrily trundling along in a straight line in a grass filed rut when the rut went left - I went right and landed arse over tit in the fence :o I don't mind a bit of a challenge but I'd like to have a fighting chance so if you promise there's not ruts I'm going to put my hand up and join the big boys and leave Steptoe to play with the rookies. We all had to go through the experience so give em some space and let them taste what GSing can be about. :thumb

6X (Percy) has offered a ROAD run!

I would not have put Percy down as a jogger:D

I've just realised its less than 2 months away and we haven't had details of any off road rides.
Shouldn't we have started asking lots of questions by now?

Will there be a beginners ride?
Will I need TK's?
Will we get to ride on the hills?
Where will we be having lunch?
What will we be having for lunch?

Come on we need to know!

There is only one question to ask.

Will there be Bingo?:D
