Oh shyte Head shake

Sorry ... Girls aren't allowed to post on technical handling / mechanic skills ... :D

Mine is rock steady, so last week on a 100 mile dash on the German autobahn i wanted to see just how stable at speed it really is the twat nav registered 136 mph with tank bag, vario panniers expanded there was the slightest and i mean slightest shake/vibe in the bars nothing to worry about and I'm pretty sure i could have rung its neck to 150 with no stability issues.

I suppose you could say mine is now run in and with 3k on the clock its not used a drop of oil.

Is that because we can generally find a quick and easy solution, whereas the more knowledgeable men start jumping up and down and diagnosing catastrophic problems (which is obviously much more fun). :comfort

Or it is because I is talking bollocks? :blagbla:blagbla:blagbla:blagbla:blagblah

Well dear Annette,

I'm sort of hoping that for you, bollocks has nothing to do with it ... :D

Only in the palm of my hand..... applying a little/lot of pressure as any given situation requires :beerjug::beerjug:

OK then I'll toddle back to my kitchen. Never let it be said that I don't know my place :comfort

But I am taking all of these with me - and I won't let you play :augie :augie :augie

The Remus is securely bolted on.

(And a very good price it was too ...) :beerjug:

....any concerned Wasserhead owners are welcom to take my Airhead out for a blast with the Mich Desert tyred wheels on.

After you've ridden that thing as it weaves and snakes its way along at 80mph your bikes will feel very secure.

And all that with your hands on the bars:D

Bertha used to do it too.

Harden the feck up and ride it:blast

I am not sure what he is trying to prove with this film, and if it does start to shake it's head badly is he going to throw down the camera to grab hold...:nenau

How does the front tyre look. If its well worn then there is your problem.:thumb

Oh yes, and if you've ridden a Kwak Z1R or H2, then you would never complain about modern bikes weaving/snaking...

I never had head-shake on my Z1R, but you are right about the weaving and snaking. Rear tubular swing arm didnt help, hence many bikes were 'ruined' with a box-section after market unit. You could still ride it quickly, but that and skinny rubber were not confidence inducing.

The WC is lively like a good race-horse, but not completely unstable, like my -ex. It responds well to a positive and intelligent riding style like many a spirited filly.

Sorted####Bloody low pressure in front tyer. But tyer pressure warning didn't light up. So sorted one prob but got another. Would have shown warning on my last years Ralley, so cant be as sensitive. That's the problem of relying on tech stuff. Should have got off my ass and used a pressure gauge. Easy.:Motomartin

That's good about the pressure, so nothing serious for you/us to worry about. I still check my tyre pressures regularly even though I have had TPMS on my last 3 bikes.

Interesting to see if they are using different sensors to the old model:nenau
