Honda tell me it's the only thing that cures the mid corner wallow on the GL1800, in combination with flicking the 'air-assist' button, as you apex the bend.
If you can't be bothered with the exertion of flicking the switch...... just turn up the volume of the stereo and pray.

With Harleys.............the best option is convert to a hard-tail, thus eliminating one of the variables...............then all you've got worry about is the wallowing, caused by the flexing of the whitewall tyres.

if you can get to london or convince them to stick em in the post these guys www.fwr.co.uk. seem to have had the profit grabbing gene largely removed. and soap.

about 10% cheaper per shock IIRC

their catalogue lists them as £395 rear & £355 for the front.

importers harris want & £436 for a rear, but will spring/valve it to your requirements.
