Ohlins - GS vs Adventure

I've just sold my GS Adventure

Thing is... I've now got a set of Ohlins (F+R) sitting at home, and a mate with a standard GS wants to fit them.


Apart from the obvious extra height... is there any reason why he can't ????

They'll fit OK - but the extra height will affect a few things (stands will both be too short, for example).
