Hi,
I just fitted new Ohlins front and rear. I find it hard to fine tune them according to the OHLINS manual. Particulary the difference between the bike on the centerstand and the bike on both wheels without/with rider: I don't get those low figures (R1-R2, R1-R3, F1-F2 and F1-F3 for those who know the manual). Mine are much higher even with all of the preload wound up. I spent a fair amount of time measuring and remeasuring with my dad and it's driving me nuts.
The online manual (GSOIAv1) isn't much of a help either. Conclusion is that my spring is too soft, and I have the stiffer 160nm spring. I weigh 86 kilos wich is not that heavy is it? This seems impossible.
How do you guys fine tune Ohlins on an 1150 GSA?
Tnx for the feedback.
