Oil consumption

They said the new GS would use less oil than the TC, and it would seem they're right. Over 4k miles on mine, and I've not had to top it up yet. Oil is still at the top of the sight glass.

Has anyone here had to top up the oil between services, or are they all burning less oil?

It makes sense. Liquid cooling means a more stable operating temperature which allows for tighter piston / cylinder wall clearances which results in lower oil consumption.

It's been all bad so far pleased I never bought one .

This is good news at least wont have to take oil now when we go touring

That will help now the tank bag is smaller give the wife a bit more space

My bike has 4000 and not used a drop

I also had a Harley fat bob which as you know is air cooled which didnt burn oil either.
