oil filler cap

is it just me or you people have probs in opening the oil filler cap..???? i mean its plastic and the tool is iron so the friggin tool slips in the slots when u try to unscrew the cap......have tried both warm and cold cylinders,,.... any suggestions friends???

Most people here have the same problem. Try and search for it.
I have come to the conclusion that it's more difficult to open when the engine is hot. By then the only way to open it is to use a hammer and the supplied tool to knock it open.
I will talk to my reseller about the issue today. I think it's really silly to have a plastic cap that can't be opened properly on such an expensive bike, which needs frequent oil refills

thanks for the help , very kind indeed
..some times its the expectation of having everything "perfect" form the exepnsive bike we own that gets me nervous and impairs the ability to cope with simple problems.......i think the tool from a screwdriver that gazza built is a good bet....
