But there's £7.95 postage on top... and no washer... I've just bought Motul Oil and Filter for £53.18 incl. delivery... just add the washer (52p from Motorworks).

Buy K&N filters from EBay and oil from wherever I can in bulk. Quite often the local auction house.
However Balmer Lawn can be good value if you need warranty

Personally I do the same, Motul oil and other fluids and I buy genuine filter and washers etc from the dealership
(Even if the genuine BMW filter is made by Mahle and the genuine Honda filter that I changed this week is made by Purflux)

It just seemed reasonable for BMW branded oil if that’s what the OP prefers

Without wishing to start a debate, do you know if the warranty still applies if you do the work yourself? Maybe the 2 year minimum legal warranty?

No idea but I'm doing it as I just did 4k miles and am off on another trip, possibly for a month.
