Oil filter stuck tight as a bas***d

Got the correct size removal tool, but it is turning without turning the filter with it....

Any ideas........?

Get some coarse wet and dry. Fold it over, so both sides are course. Wrap a strip inside the filter removal tool. Hit the tool onto the filter with the wet and dry trapped inbetween the tool and filter. Undo

Finally got it off.....

Note to self: Check that the old filter washer is off before trying to introduce another filter into the equation...
