Hi guys. Had a interesting ride home. Rear end was a little loose. Noticed oil all over my tyre when I got of the bike. Milage is around 34.000 and it's a 15 plate GSA. Anyone else had a similar issue and have any suggestions what it's likely to be. I'm thinking final drive output seal?

I don't mean to be impolite, but frankly, the description 'oil all over the tyre' is a bit thin. Since the tire is filled with air only, the oil obviously has to come from somewhere else. And this 'somewhere else', bleeding it's oil, must leave a trace of the oil.
There are three sources where the oil may come from.
- Final drive
- Rear shock
- Engine
Any one of these will leave a trace of oil if they leak.
Final drive, if it leaks, will throw the oil from the seal at either the main bearing seal, in which case there will be oil thrown to the inside of the rim, or the outside seal, in which case there will be oil visible on the outside of the final drive housing.
Rear shock will show oil spillage along the seals and lower bolt, and probably onto the swing arm.
The engine may either leak from the oil drain, or somewhere else that should not leak. In any case, if the oil is visible on the tyre, it surely will be visible on the engine if that is the source for the leak.
Your next move now is to go to your bike and get down on your knees, using a flashlight may help as the oil film will reflect the light.
Anyway, that is the best way to find out.
Us guessing based on the information 'oil on tire' will not bring you any closer to a sensible answer.
Good luck, and let us know what you find out
