Oil Leak

On the way back up the road last night my oil pressure light came on for a few seconds then went out.

Took it easy the rest of the way with no re occurrence.

On arrival the sides of the engine and gearbox are covered in oil and it would appear to be coming from underneath the fuel tank.

Removed the tank and there is signs of oil but nothing obvious as to where it may be coming from. The breather hose looks fine.

Was going to do an oil and filter change to give it a flush then jet wash the oil off and go for a short run.

Anyone had anything similar

Thats likely to be the coming from the oil temp sender/thermostat - The washer corrodes and causes an oil to leak.

Fault confirmed.

After cleaning the bike up and restarting after a few minutes the oil can be seen seeping out from the base of the oil thermostat.
