Oil Leaks

Took the bike for a ride yesterday and this morning discovered traces of oil around the base of the rear suspension unit, and on the sidewalls of the rear tyre. I have had a close look and cannot see any obvious cause, but seem to recall a previous thread that mentioned something similar. Any help gratefully received

Could be the suspension itself... Had that problem with my first
1100gs, and bought a WP shock...

If it's a 1150 get your black arm band on now

Sorry mike have you any pre damp ie wind your knob right down
see if any thing comes out from the top of your shock.

Have wound the knob right down and no sign of anything. Perhaps the answer is to wait until tomorrow and take it for a short spin to see what happens!

Did you get much resistance if not then the fluids gone already
as there's not a lot of it.
Be careful tomorrow with that oil on yer tyre
